Have tried various makes of footwear, different trainers and nothing helps, it is really frusrating and I can barely walk after 20 minutes on the trainer.

it could be lots of reasons. I recommend you visit a sports physciatrist

Did you just start? If so, it might be circulation. It will take a while to get your body use to the work out. Give it 2 weeks. How long are you working out? How many days?

I have no idea what an elliptical trainer is, but if it’s of any interest, my feet go numb after 10 minutes on the toilet. Why is it that the male feet don’t as well? They can stay on there for hours!

The same thing happened to me… it’s a circulation problem. Someone told me to loosen the shoe lace ties on my sneakers as I have a habit of lacing them up tight… I did… and it doesn’t happen any more! I’m on my elliptical 7 days a week…
