Which blu ray players automatically update the firmware when discs require updated software?

Well you’ll have to download the update onto a cd/r or dvd/r and then insert it and update it yourself. If your blu-ray can be connected to the internet then it might update itself. Check behind the player to see if there’s a ethernet input. Read the manual and see what it says about updating your player’s firmware.
