Overview

Using a powerful microprocessor, GPS, and satellite-based accuracy enhancement technology, the SkyCaddie automatically calculates, as you move, distances to up to forty targets per hole simultaneously in less than a second. You will already have your number when you get to your ball. You don’t need a clear line of sight or reflective target with the SkyCaddie. Because the targets are pre-programmed, the SkyCaddie eliminates the need to aim through a lens, accidentally hitting the wrong target on a hole, or trying to hit a pin with a laser beam at 200 yards.Get accurate measurements over hills, trees, and obstructions to any target. Play confidently and knock strokes off your game. Learn how far you hit your drive, 5-iron, 9-iron, or wedge with a touch of a button.Just let the SkyCaddie see the sky, and it’ll do all the yard work for you! Plus, at a mere 4.8 ounces, it goes anywhere you go. Now your game can measure up, just like the SkyCaddie!

Sky Caddie SG2.5

Nickname: "Natalie" (Natalie Gulbis is spokesperson...get it?)

What a fun toy...just learn how to use it and you will be happy happy happy!

She has never let us down. We are solid players and use her for money games...

Early versions of any GPS rangefinder were crap. Not this one!

I do agree that the subscription is kind of a weak, cowardly fleecing of the customer but someone's gotta get rich off this thing...If .... Read more

It's good when it works
I bought the SG4 for my wife as a Birthday gift. It worked great for 3 months and then the battery died and also the charging attachment screw stripped. They sent me a new one and this one freezes up, three or four times per round. It took me three calls and 2 hours of waiting on line just for them to tell me that it will cost $35.00 to $100.00 to fix it. I will buy the Garmin unit instead. I have several friends at my club who also own a SkyCaddie and some of them already returned their unit fo .... Read more

Excellent product
Great features. The SkyCaddie has accuracy to 1-3 yards from anywhere within 1000 yards of the green like below hills or behind trees. For downloaded courses, you have yardage to various fairway hazards (bunkers, etc) and recommended target areas. Paying for access to a 14,000 course worldwide database via an annual subscription is required and is reasonable. The device is easily operated with one hand. There are some people who can only operate dials and maybe 1 or 2 buttons. If you still hav .... Read more

Beware of the unknown.
I have had a SG3 for about six months and am starting to regret it. First of all, the infomercial skips over the fact that you have to have a yearly membership to obtain course information. They should give you the first five for free or free access to your home state. Strike one. Connecting to the website is very tedious, is not user friendly and doesn't work every time. Strike two. About 20% of the time the unit just locks up during use and you have no choice but to pull the batteries, r .... Read more
