I have 2002 avalanche and a Sirius Sat radio (external) hooked up to my in dash DVD/CD/MP3 player?

I have the Satallite radio directly connected through the antenna, this has always worked, for over 1-2years now.

Now all of a sudden i will be listening to SAT radio and “POP” then ost of the time the audio just goes out. and if i change it to CD even on volume 1 it is intenstly loud and distorted. Shut the car off, come back later, works great. sometime it doenst happen, but mostly it does again.

This is VERY frustrating, What could it be? Thanks all

    Sounds like you have an electrical problem or a short somewhere.
