How to change 1997 Toyota Corolla car audio system?

Hello to all,

I just brought new CD/MP3/WMA in dash receiver for my toyotal corolla 1997. The car has factory sterio in it which is a cassette player. I have tried to remove couple of screws in order to remove the old system but nothing I could do more.

any suggestion? any website or book to guide for this issue?

    depends wat u want u can spend nething around $400

    2 different radios showing for this car. On lower mounted and one upper mounted. Here ya go………. Lower mounted is Disconnect the negative battery terminal to
    prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove
    the climate control knobs, unsnap the upper
    trim bezel and disconnect the hazard and
    clock leads. Remove (2) screws from the
    lower trim bezel and remove……….. UPPER mounted is Disconnect the negative battery terminal to
    prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove
    (4) screws from the top edge of the
    instrument trim bezel and (2) screws below
    the radio opening. Remove (1) screw from
    the lower-left tab of the bezel ( to the right of
    the a/c vent) and unsnap the bezel. Hope that helps
