How much space does an elliptical trainer take up?

I am interested in buyer an elliptical trainer for my cardio since it has hit the point of being to cold to walk outside. I have just started exercising 2 weeks ago & have got a good routine going & I don’t want to break it. It was 27 & windy Tuesday so I can home frozen but I know I have to keep it up. I am very limited in space right now but do have one spot in my bedroom I might be able to put it if it is not to big.
If anybody could give me the measurements & brand of what they have it would be very helpful. Also a price paid would be nice since my husband & I discuss any big purchases before hand.

about the same as a regular sized treadmill or exercise bike. They aren’t small.
I don’t work-out outdoors because I am suseptible to colds so I go to the gym. I must say that I really like going to the gym every day. The stairsteppers at the gym are a little smaller than the treadmills. The stairstepper is about 3-4′ long and 2′ wide.
Lots of people who buy one never end up using it so you can probably find a good deal on one used in the classified ads.
