How many Electric Bass Guitars currently exist at this time?

How many Electric Bass guitars are there across the entire globe. simple question really.. thank for any info!
ie, how many electric bass guitars, nothing else, not stand up, no stick tub bass, no bass pedals, just pure electric bass guitars. 4 string, 5 string, or 6. would the number be close to 1 million or maybe 5 million?

    Do you mean how many different models of bass guitars, or how many individual basses there are? Should we count upright basses too?

    What about instruments like the Chapman Stick? That is sort of a bass. What about bass pedals? Should we count those too? Let us know, and we’ll start counting asap.

    Maybe 20 Million, but more are always being made.

    They’re not rare, you know that right?
