How long till Macs come standard with Blu-Ray players?

Now that Blu-Ray won the Format War, how long till Apple decides to equip all Macs with Blu-Ray players. I hope it won’t too long.

I need a new Mac, for editing and SHlT, and don’t want to spend $3,000 on a 8-core processor W/DVD Drive , only too have Steve Jobs announce a 8-core processor W/Blu-Ray drive the next day.
