do blu ray players show too much clarity?

i saw some blu ray players demo at best buy and it looks too real, i can see the make up on people and it just looks fake, like i know they are on a set. does anyone think this? is it too much definition for movies own good?

    Too much clarity? Blu-Ray is great, but it’s detail is still less that of actual film. So too much? Eh, maybe.

    Somewhat yes. I wouldn’t say too much, but it does show very high clarity and detail. Could be good, could be bad.

    Examples
    The Good: Dark knight looks very real and very detailed.

    The Bad: Megan Fox now has too many pimples and large pores on her face in Transformers due to clarity.

    Now imagine porn in Blu-ray…you could see the hairs on the arm pits and other places. Not nice!
